PRIVACY POLICY

(Why we collect your personal data and what is done with it)

When you supply your personal data to Metamorphic, they are stored and processed for the below reasons:

  • We need to collect some personal information about you and your health in order to make sure there are no contraindications to your treatment, and legal requirements. You can of course, refuse to provide the information, however unfortunately we would have to refuse your treatment as this form is a legal requirement for our insurance.

  • Provided we have your consent we may occasionally send you emails with our latest News and offers.

  • We have a legal obligation to retain your records for seven years after your most recent appointment. After this time your records will be destroyed in a method compliant with GDPR.

  • Records retained on paper, which is locked in a cabinet within the salon, is only accessible by staff of Metamorphic.

  • Records recorded on the salon’s software, which is password protected and only accessible by staff of Metamorphic. 

  • Your phone number and email may be used electronically, with your permission. This is for appointment reminders or occasional offers.

  • If you wish to contact us via social media, this is password protected but for historic issues with privacy associated with social media sites, you may wish to think about what you send us.

  • This website may, from time to time, provide links to other websites. Metamorphic has no control over such websites and is no way responsible for the content thereof. This policy does not extend to your use of such websites. Users are advised to read the privacy policy or statement of other websites prior to using them.

  • We will never share your data with anyone who does not need access without your consent. Only the Manager and Staff of Metamorphic will have access to your data.

  • You have the right to see what personal data of yours we hold and you can also ask the Owner of Metamorphic to correct any factual errors. Provided the legal minimum period has elapsed, you may also ask the business to erase your records.

  • We would like you to be absolutely confident that we treat your personal data responsibly and that we do everything we can to make sure that only people who can access that data have a genuine need to. Of course if you feel we have mishandled your data in some way, you have the right to make a formal complaint.​​

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Cancellations
Please note 48 Hours’ notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise the deposit of £50 will be retained. 
 
Punctuality and Courtesy
Arriving late may interfere with your treatment, we will always attempt to complete all appointments at their scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and a full charge will be applied. All times stated include preparation of room and client and consultation.
Please be aware that client data will need to be captured therefore, a longer consultation will be needed if it is your first appointment. We require this time for you to complete a personal consultation online form, this document is 100% confidential and is used for treatment purposes only.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 12 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date.  Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation and “failure to show” terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.
 
Price Alteration
We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.

Data Security
Personal details taken from clients during consultation procedures will be kept safe and in the strictest confidence. We would, on occasion like to send you details of open evenings and special promotions. If you would rather not receive these please let us know.

Medical Conditions
Please inform your therapist of any medical condition including pregnancy prior to booking as some treatments may not be appropriate for you.

Hygiene
Salon hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness.

Payment
Most Credit and Debit Cards are accepted.  A non refundable 50% deposit of full treatment is required on booking.

Patch Testing
Patch Testing required for clients who would like treatments that have products that require patch testing. No treatment will take place without a clear result patch test.

COVID-19 POLICY

What will be different:

  • Please arrive on time, not earlier or later.

  • Sign in and out using the QR code on the salon window by the door

  • Upon arrival you’ll need to sanitise your hands

  • Staff will be wearing clear visors during your visit.

  • Disposable headbands will be used 

  • Hand sanitiser in the treatment room

Cancellations during the COVID-19 

If you or anyone in your house displays the below symptoms please DO NOT attend your appointment, please contact us as soon as you can so that I know you are not coming.

To protect others, if you have any of these symptoms, stay at home.

 

What I ask of you:

  • Guidelines state that customers must wear a mask whilst in the shop. These are available in the salon for a small fee if you wish to purchase.

  • For the time being, I cannot provide refreshments.

  • Please use your bathroom before leaving home. The toilet will of course be available for you but we need to reduce use as much as possible.

  • Please only bring card payment. I cannot accept cash until further notice.

  • Please come alone to your appointment where possible.

  • Please do feel comfortable to alert us if you feel we could do things differently or if anything becomes uncomfortable for you during your visit. This is a new situation for all of us and I’m always happy to receive feedback.

 

Please do bear with me during this time. It’s a massive learning curve and hopefully a short-term protocol. I’m sure there will be ups and downs and changes along the way, but as always, your safety is paramount and I will do my best to keep things running as smoothly as possible so you can enjoy your wonderful treatments and enjoy your experience.
